About Toolyard
Small tools, built to just work.
Toolyard started with a simple annoyance: needing a quick word count, a unit conversion, or a QR code, and having to wade through five ads and a sign-up wall to get it.
So we built a yard of them instead — a single place with the everyday tools people actually reach for, each one fast, free, and usable in a browser tab without creating an account.
What you'll find here
Why it's free
The core tools on Toolyard are, and will stay, free to use. The site is supported by lightweight advertising and an optional Premium plan for people who want extra features and an ad-free experience — but nobody needs to pay to get their work done.
Who's behind it
Toolyard is built and maintained by an independent, small team focused on utility over noise. We add new tools based on what people actually ask for, so if something's missing, we want to hear about it.
